• The flame proof hoists are designed in modular construction .The main advantage of modular construction is that it simplifies repair works during shut down times.
• In addition, during fire it prevents from occuring accidents and all the electrical apparatus used in the hoist are carefully located in a flame proof enclosure making it safe.
• The mechanical components are designed in such a manner that there is no ferrous metal to ferrous metal contact. This greatly reduces the changes of generating sparks.
• The flame proof hoists are compact in design, low in weight, and usually very easy to operate.
• The Hooks are shank type supported on anti-friction thrust bearing and the M.S. pulley.
• Motors are totally enclosed, fan cooled induction motors with high starting torque crane duty 415 v, 3 phase motors.
• Alloy steel hobbed teeth helical spur gears with solid pinions all duly treated.
